The company was founded in 2001 and has since developed into one of the Nordic region's leading players in tanker transport of products such as oil, petrol, lubricants, chemicals and technical fluids.
Today, Skanol operates as a full-service logistics partner focusing on the entire value chain - from transport and documentation to electronic monitoring and supply management. They combine modern technology with highly skilled employees to ensure efficient, secure and customised solutions.

Fuel distribution
Delivering petrol and diesel to petrol stations and diesel plants throughout the Nordic region with a focus on precision, quality and efficient logistics.
Lubricating oil for industry, shipping and workshops
Daily deliveries to automotive workshops, industrial companies and ships, among others. Drivers are trained to handle customers' specific facilities and needs.
Fuel distribution
Flexible and safe delivery of fuel to ships - around the clock and in changing conditions. Our drivers are specially trained in documentation and safety.
Aviation fuel for airports
Distribution of jet fuel to airports and airfields with purpose-built, weight-optimised tankers.
Oil distribution for private and commercial customers
Hundreds of daily deliveries to homes, farms and businesses - with a focus on flexibility, planning and invisible service.
Chemicals and technical products
Transporting dangerous goods for industry with a high focus on safety, correct materials and legal compliance. Drivers and equipment are specially approved.
Gas delivery
Distribution of gas products for both industrial and energy-related purposes. We ensure safe transport and stable supply with specialised equipment and experienced personnel.

Sustainability - an integral part of Skanol's business strategy
Sustainability is an integral part of Skanol's business strategy. As a transport company specialising in dangerous goods, we take responsibility for minimising our impact on the environment and climate - while ensuring high safety and operational efficiency.
One of the key elements of our environmental efforts is the investment in weight-optimised tankers. These purpose-built vehicles allow for increased payload and fewer kilometres driven, reducing fuel consumption and CO₂ emissions per delivery.
We have implemented a number of technologies that support greener and more responsible driving, including:
- ECO-driving and electronic driving style tracking
- GPS tracking and fleet management to optimise routes and avoid unnecessary driving
Our distribution models are also designed with sustainability in mind. Through multishare distribution, we can deliver products for multiple customers on the same vehicle. This means fewer trips, lower costs, higher efficiency - and a significant reduction in environmental impact, especially in sparsely populated areas
